The rules of blackjack are simple. Your goal is to beat the croupier (also called a dealer). To do this, you must get a higher card value than the cards in the croupier, but you must ensure that the card value does not exceed 21 points. You also win if the croupier exceeds 21 or if your first two cards win a blackjack, which means that their value is exactly 21.

- Cards 2 through 10 have exactly the value shown on the card.
- The value of J (servant), Q (queen), K (king) cards is 10.
- The ace (A) value can be 1 or 11, depending on which you prefer.
How to start a game
The first step in a typical casino is usually to get your chips with your real money. You do not hand the banknotes directly into the croupier’s hand, instead, leave it on the table. Before the game, you place a bet (in the form of chips) in the space provided on the table. Then the game of blackjack can begin.
The croupier deals cards to all players (including himself). Each player is dealt 2 cards face up. In the croupier, one card will face up and the other face down. Players are not allowed to touch their cards.
If your first two cards are worth 21, then you have a blackjack and you win 1.5 of your original bet. Of course, this is the case if the croupier has a lower card value. If the croupier has the same total card value, it is a draw and the bet remains on the next game.
Once the game starts, the player must decide what to do. There are several options, each with its own name:
Hit / Draw - If the value of your cards is too low, you can ask the croupier to deal you another card.
Stand - If you are happy with your cards, you can do nothing, which means that you will not be dealt another card.
Double - double your bet. In this case, the croupier deals you another card and the game ends.
Split - If you have cards of the same value, you can split them, then continue playing a separate game with each one. But you should double your initial bet.
Surrender - If you don’t like your first two cards, you can give up. In this case, you will lose half of your bet.
Insurance - you are given an “airbag”. It is used to win money from a croupier’s blackjack. You can use up to half of your rate for insurance. However, the chances of a croupier getting a blackjack are so slim that it is usually not worth taking out insurance.
